From Bronze to Silver: A Year of Growth and a Tree to Celebrate

We're excited to share some fantastic news that's got the entire Pellacraft team smiling – We've just earned our EcoVadis Silver Medal for 2025🌳 

A little over a year ago, we shared our Bronze achievement, calling it "just one step along a much longer path." Well, that next step came faster than we expected.

What I'm most proud of is how quickly and effectively our team embraced the challenge, constantly asking "How can we do this more sustainably?" Their dedication has made this achievement possible, and celebrating together has been the best part of this announcement.

This Silver Medal isn't just a destination – it's fuel for the journey ahead and proof that with clear focus and systematic improvements, meaningful progress is achievable within realistic timeframes.

What Makes This Recognition Special?

For those unfamiliar with EcoVadis, it's far more than a sustainability tick-box exercise. The platform provides comprehensive assessments across four critical areas: environmental impact management, labour and human rights practices, ethical business conduct, and sustainable procurement processes.

They don't just evaluate policies on paper – they conduct thorough assessments of how we actually operate, examining real implementation, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This rigorous process has been invaluable in helping us benchmark our performance against industry standards and identify exactly where we need to focus our efforts next.
