Some companies choose to celebrate all week or even all month, so don’t panic too much about timing.   Working from home has made companies think creatively about recognition and rewards to increase job satisfaction and motivation. No longer can a round of pizza’s at lunchtime be a treat for all when remote working or flexible working is in place.   [Recognising and rewarding](https://www.pellacraft.com/employee-incentives/)your employees regularly will maintain trust between employer and employee.   We all like to receive a thank you and won’t turn down an early finish, but that isn't what staff appreciation day is about. It's the perfect opportunity to thank every employee by creating recognition experiences that are heartfelt, fun and memorable.   Take a look at our top 5 employee recognition gifts to show your employees you care.   ## Promotional Merchandise for Staff Appreciation Day.      The Handy Can   [![Survival-Kit](https://blog.pellacraft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Survival-Kit.jpg?width=250&name=Survival-Kit.jpg)](https://www.pellacraft.com/winter-survival-handy-can-kit) Surprise your employees with a quirky winter fit kit filled with tissues, hand sanitiser, heat pack and lip balm to help them combat unwanted winter gifts of germs and colds.   Or you can get creative and make your own fit kit that reflects your company culture.
